Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," June 23, 1933:

William L. Farnsworth, 83 years old, died at his home, 1027 South Weller street at 3:30 a.m. today. He is survived by four sons, James and Roy Farnsworth of Centerville and Frank and Ed Farnsworth of Ottumwa; four daughters, Mrs. Jessie Edwards of Mokane, Mo., Mrs. Jennie Shaw of Mystic, Mrs. Ruth Dershem of Des Moines and Miss Alice Farnsworth, at home; twenty-seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one brother, Milton Farnsworth of Wichita, Kan. The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel, pending the completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for William L. Farnsworth, who died at his home, 1027 South Weller street, Monday morning, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Roy C. Leeds, pastor of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery.
