Mrs. Jennie Shaw, 58, wife of William Shaw, Wiley street, died at 8 a.m. today at the University hospital in Iowa City. She was born June 30, 1891, at Mendota, Mo., but had lived in Ottumwa the past 12 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Receveur, Mrs. Jessie Johnson, Mrs. Lucille Huffman, and Miss Grace Shaw, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Margaret Mascaro, of near Mystic; a son, Benny Shaw, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Durshim, Des Moines, and Mrs. Jesse Edwards, living in Missouri; and three brothers, Roy Farnsworth, Centerville, Frank Farnsworth, living in California, and Edward Farnsworth of near Ottumwa.
The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Shaw, wife of William Shaw, Wiley street, who died Thursday at University hospital, Iowa City, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of Capt. J.E. LaLone of the Salvation Army. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
