Golder A. Brumley, a resident of Denton and a lifetime member of this community, died October 3, 1964 at his home on Route 3.
Born in Piggott, Ark., on August 22, 1913, he was the son of Amos and Dellar James Brumley.
Services were at the Chapel of German Funeral Home on October 5, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Robert Martin of Cardwell, Mo., officiating.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Henry Jarred, Lesper Jarred, Leroy Jarred, Ralph King, Ronnie Bradley and Max L. Bradley.
Mr. Brumley leaves his wife, Mrs. Mable Brumley, of Denton; a son, Fred, of Denton; three daughters: Linda Ann, Susie and Mary Beth; his mother, Mrs. Dellar Brumley of Steele; three brothers: Claud of Steele; Andrew of Granite City, Ill.; Larry of Londale, Calif.; three sisters: Mrs. Pearl Jarred, Steele; Mrs. Edna Bradley, Dyersburg; and Mrs. Gaither King, Steele.
