Olive Williams, 64, Succumbs

Mrs. Olive Denning Williams, 64, a lifetime resident of Eastern Idaho, died Friday of a stroke in her home in Ririe.

She was born Oct. 21, 1896 to James Henry Denning Sr., and Emma James(Jane) Squires of Iona. She married William Royal Williams in the Salt Lake City Temple on Sept. 24, 1931. She was an active member of the LDS Church as she taught Sunday School and Primary School for many years. She was also a relief society visiting teacher.

She is survived by her husband, of Salt Lake City, and by a son, Nyle Royal Williams of Ririe, and by the following children(siblings); Miss Myrtle Denning, Mrs. George (Echo) Wilson, all of Bountiful, Utah; Mrs. Joseph (Pearl) Barron, Midvale, Utah; Mrs. Robert (Rachel) Prout, Sunset, Utah; Mrs. Rudger (Ester) Scott, Ririe; Mrs. Isaac (Harriet) Robinson, Coleman; Walter Denning, Iona; Mrs. Pete (Sarah) Westergard, Iona; George W. Denning, Iona; Mrs. Hans (Mattie) Olaveson, Rigby.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, and by three brothers and three sisters.

Services have been set for Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Rire LDS First Ward Chapel with Bishop Earl Hunter, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Eckerself Funeral Home and Thursday from 1 until time of services at the Relief Society room in the church at Ririe. Interment will follow in the Iona Cemetery.
