She passed away at Billings January 25, 1972.
She lived with her parents in ND until 1911 when they moved to a ranch five miles south of Fallon. Gottfried Gackle and Christina Kalmback were united in marriage January 10, 1914 at Miles City. They homesteaded in the Watkins area and lived there until 1958 when they moved to Terry.
Survivors are her husband, three sons, Oscar and Howard, both of Brockway and Alvin of Terry; three daughters, Elenora Habel of Auburn WA, Cynthia Gackle of Miles City and Alma Gackle at home; two sisters Mary Trimble of Wolf Point and Freida Bredberg of Fallon.
