Ed (Adam) Kalmbach passed away on January 12 at the NP Hospital in Glendive as a result of a heart condition. He had been in poor health for the past two years and had been confined in the hospital for four days.
Mr Kalmbach was born at Kulm, ND on January 22, 1898, the son of Mr and Mrs Adam Kalmbach. He attended grade schools in ND and near Fallon. He moved to Fallon Flat with his parents in 1911, and farmed there until 1931. He resided in Fallon for several years, and has been working for the past six years on a farm near Lindsay.
Survivors include five sisters, Mrs Gottfried Gackle of Brockway, Mrs Andrew Gackle of Circle, Mrs Albert Heck of Harlowton, Mrs Del Trimble of Wolf Point, and Mrs Harold Bredberg of Fallon, as well as a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Katherine, and two brothers, John and Fred.
