Alvin Buron Allen
Mr. Alvin Buron Allen, 87, a resident of Wetumpka, Albama, died Friday February 26, 1999, in a local nursing home.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 1st, at 2 p.m. from Grier Chapel PFB Holiness Church with the Rev. W. H. Preskitt, the Rev. Steve Gentry, and the Rev. Terry Barnes officiating.
Internment followed in the church cemetery with Gossett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by a son, James Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Allen, of Wetumpka; five sons and two daughters-in-law, David Allen and Johnny and Thelma Allen all of Dadeville, Errol Allen of Arlington, Texas, Marlin and Sandra Allen of Quinlon, Texas and Kenneth Allen of Wetumpka, one daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Glen Tubbs of Wetumpka; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joshua Tubbs, Rickey Alley, Billy Allen, Larry Forbus, Earl Edmondson, and Wayne Meadows.
Honorary pallbearers were Troy Tapley, David Carr, Gregory Allen, Darrol Allen and Mark Allen.
