Montgomery - Mrs. Mae Belle Welch, 78, of Montgomery died Tuesday evening at the Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Garner officiating.
Mrs. Welch is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Laura Phiefer of Escondido, California, Mrs. Lorene Tillman of Knoxville, Tenn., Mrs. Dorothy Cobb of Hahira Georgia, and Mrs. Betty Abney of LaFayette, one son, Marion T. Welch of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. Willard Beshears of California and Mrs. Mamie Knox of Dadeville; to brothers, Joe Allen of Opelika and Buron Allen of Wetumpka; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A native of Chambers Co., Mrs. Welch had been a resident of Lanett for most of her life. She was a retired employee of the Lanett Mill. Mrs. Welch was of the Baptist faith.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 - 9:00 at the funeral home chapel.
Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Langdale is handling the arrangements."
