Obituary: St. Cloud Times, St Cloud, Minnesota, 9 January 1985
Valerian "Larry" Hofmann, 55, of St. Cloud and formerly of Albany died Tuesday at St. Cloud Veteran's Administration Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Albany. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at Brenny Funeral Home, Albany, after 6:30 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Hofmann was born March 15, 1929, in Albany to Gertrude [Ohmann] and the late Frank Hofmann. He was a three year veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his mother, St. Cloud; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Marty [Helen] Crowe, Eau Claire, Wis.; Mrs. Frank [Florence] Pietraszewski, Rush Lake; Mrs. Norb [Monica] Schmidt, Melrose; Mrs. Virgil [Loyola] Hemker, Freeport; Victor, Columbia, S.C.; Mrs. Lloyd [Clara] Baggenstoss, Atlantic, Iowa; Anthony, St. Cloud; Pat, Brainerd; Robert, Cottage Grove, Mrs. Mary Ann St. Arnault, Littleton, Colo.; and Mrs. Jane Hogan, Westport, Conn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers [sic].
