Joseph Hofmann, 62, died Saturday at Albany Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Seven Dolors Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 today at Brenny Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 8 tonight at the funeral home in Albany followed by Knights of Columbus prayers at 8:30.
Mr. Hofmann was born March 15, 1917, to Francis and Gertrude Hofmann. He married Verona Meisner Feb.10, 1945, in St. Paul. He was employed as a courier by Fingerhut Manufacturing, St. Cloud, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; mother, St. Cloud; daughters and son, Mrs. Kerry [Kathleen] Woodruff, Wausau, Wis.; Connie, Rome, Italy; Mrs. Charles [Janice] McCrea, Aldosta, Ga.; Jeffery, St. Cloud; Vicki, Albany; Patti and Paula, Minneapolis; brothers and sisters, Victor, Columbia, S.C.; Robert, Cottage Grove; Anthony and Larry, St. Cloud; Pat, Albany; Mrs. Marty [Helen] Crowe, Eau Claire, Wis.; Mrs. Norbert [Monica] Schmidt, Melrose; Mrs. Virgil [Lola] Hemker, Freeport; Mrs. Frank [Florence] Pietraszewski, Hastings; Mrs. Lloyd [Clara] Baggenstoss, Atlantic, Iowa; Mrs. Dean [Mary Ann] St. Arnault, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Richard [Jane] Hayden, Westport, Conn.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1949 and one brother.
