Carmi -- Rosalie Doneghue, age 73, of Carmi, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born November 12, 1939, in Essex, Mo., the daughter of William and Georgia (Mundy) Acord. She married Cecil "Zeke" Doneghue and he preceded her in death in 1989.
Rosalie was a personal assistant and worked for Doors with the State Of Illinois. She attended World Harvest Church.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and David Brockett of Carmi; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Alan Doneghue of Olney, Anthony "Tony" and Teresa Acord of Olney, and Michael and Johnra Kay Doneghue of Radcliff, Ky.; four brothers, Raymond, Johnny, Charlie, and Carl "Dutch"; three sisters, Wilma Martinelli, Mary Jordan, and Gertie Browning; 12 grandchildren, Alishia, Matthew, Amy, Darin, Danyelle, Lauren, and Miranda Acord, and Courtney, Makenzie, and Leif Harper, William Doneghue, and Stephanie Wardrip; several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Louie; and two sisters, Faye and Vonda.
