Ola Rhoda was the daughter of George Andrew & Martha Elizabeth (Kuykendall) Hendrix. She had one (1) brother; Otto Andrew Hendrix and five (5) sisters; Pearl O., Ruby A., Georgia Helen, Leona Winfred, & Lucille Lavelle.


Ola also had five (5) half-siblings; Kate Lucy, George Ervin, Mary Eula, Ana Inez, & Danile Hill "Little Dan"; all whose mother was Nancy Jane (Hendricks) Hendrix.


Ola married Pettie Dean "Ted" Hall, and this union did not result any children of their own. Ted and Ola did adpot two boys, Ancil Keith & Robert Wayne, born in Ajo, Arizona and the sons of their niece, Bobby Nowlin. Bobby was the daughter of Hancil Porter & Leona Winfred (Hendrix) Nowlin.


Ted and Ola had moved from Milton, LeFlore County, Oklahoma to Ajo in the late 1940's so Ted could work in the Phelps Dodge Copper mine.


Ted and Ola moved back to the Brushy area of Sequoyah County, Oklahoma in the late 1950's or early 1960's.

Graveside services for Ola Hall, 89, of Poteau, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Milton Cemetery, west of Bokoshe, with Rev. Larry Harris officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.


Mrs. Hall was born Dec. 12, 1915, in McCurtain, to George A .Hendrix and Martha (Kuykendall) Hendrix. She died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, in Poteau.


Mrs Hall was a former manager of Black Angus Restaurant in Poteau and Ajo Hotel in Ajo, Ariz. Mrs. Hall and her husband owned and operated the Brushy Mountain General Store and Restaurant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Panama.


She married Pettie Dean "Ted" Hall who preceded her in death.


Survivors include one son, Robert Hall of Show Low, Ariz.; and one sister-in-law Marie Hendrix of McCurtain.


She was also preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.


Viewing is from 3p.m. - 5p.m. Sunday at Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.
