Martha was the daughter of Simon Jessie & Odella Celia (Nall) Kuykendall.

Martha married George Andrew Hendrix March 5, 1909 and they had seven (7) children; Pearl 0., Ruby A., Georgia Helen, Ola Rhoda, Leona Winfred, Otto Andrew, & Lucille Lavelle.

Martha & George lived all their life in the Milton, Rosedale, McCurtain areas of Le Flore & Haskell counties of Oklahoma.

Many of the family members indicated that Martha's full name was Martha Katherine Elizabeth Francis Kuykendall.

Obituary of Mrs. Martha Hendrix

Funeral services were held Saturday in the First Baptist church for Mrs. Martha Hendrix, 70, who died in the Le Flore county hospital.

Burial was in Milton cemetery.

Survivors Include a son, Otto Andrew, of McCurtain; Mrs. Annie Nixon of McCurtain and eight daughters.

Pearl Howard of Chickasha, Georgia Gollihar and Winfred Nowlin of Ajo, Ariz., Ola Hall of Sallisaw, Lucille Fisk of Santa Paula, Calif., Eula Curtis of Yukon, Okla., and Kate Hinkins of Pueblo, Colo.

Mrs. Ruth (Nixon) Belz and daughters of Fort Worth, Texas are visiting this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nixon after attending the funeral of her grandmother.
