Pettie Dean "Ted" Hall was the son of Claud Lewis & Eva C. (Unknown) Hall and born in Mulberry Township, Franklin County, Arkansas.


Ted married Ola Rhoda Hendrix; however, they never had any children of their own. Ted and Ola did adopt two boys, Ancil Keith & Robert Wayne, of their niece, Bobby Nowlin. Bobby was the daughter of Hancil Porter & Leona Winfred (Hendrix) Nowlin.


Ancil Keith & Robert Wayne were both born in Ajo, Pima County, Arizona.


Ted and Ola had moved from Milton, LeFlore County, Oklahoma to Ajo in the late 1940's so Ted could work in the Phelps Dodge Copper mine.


Ted and Ola moved back to the Brushy area of Sequoyah County, Oklahoma in the late 1950's or early 1960's.


Ted died while driving a semi-trailer truck on a highway construction job in the north west corner of Kansas. The truck ran off the highway, Ted was thrown from the cab of the semi, the truck rolled over landing on Ted. Otto Hendrix went to Kansas to identify, calm, and bring Ted's body back to Oklahoma for Burial. The funeral was closed casket.
