Services for Billie Gene Rudd, 77, of New Home will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in New Home with Larry Westmoreland and the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.
Burial will be at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
She died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, in Lubbock.
She was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Gorman and graduated from Gorman High School in 1942. She married E.M. Rudd on Oct. 2, 1942, in Clovis, N.M. He died March 1, 1987. They moved to the New Home area in 1945. She was a homemaker, beautician, artist and a longtime member of the New Home First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Smith of New Home; a son, Don of Bedford; two sisters, Gracie Jenkins of Rising Star and Nadine Bartee of Andrews; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
