Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Franklin Quisenberry, 61, were held Sunday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home with burial in Brookside Cemetery. Rev. G. E. Henry was in charge of the services. Mrs. Quisenberry, daughter of the late L. W. Franklin and Celia Morris Franklin, was born in Taylor County October 15, 1893. She died at her home in the Saloma community Friday, April 29, at 10:45 a.m. She had been in ill health for several months. She professed faith in Christ at an early age in life and was a member of the Morton Chapel Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Chester Quisenberry, December 5, 1917. To this union one son and two daughters were born. Surviving are D. L. Quisenberry and Miss Jessie Quisenberry, both of Taylor County. Lois May preceded her mother in death in infancy. Besides husband and children, Mrs. Quisenberry is survived by three sisters, Mary Peters, Mrs. Henry Druin, and Mrs. Charlie Druin, all of Taylor County and one grandson, as well as many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were J. W.Gupton, Piercy Hill, Raymond Corbin, Debs Pike, Ray Wingler, and Frank Noe.
