David L. Quisenberry of Campbellsville, son of the late Chester Quisenberry and Lillie Franklin Quisenberry, was born July 16, 1921, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:55 P.M., Wednesday, April 16, 2008, in Elizabethtown. Age: 86

He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and achieving the rank of corporal. He had been employed as a bulldozer operator, construction worker and later, with the Army Corp of Engineers. He united in marriage to Ruth Wingler March 28, 1948. Besides his wife, Ruth Quisenberry, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Otha Quisenberry and wife, Wanda of Gallatin, Tennessee and Mary Clark and husband, Bob of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Brian Quisenberry and wife, Stacy and Tiffany Quisenberry of Lexington, Rob Clark, Kristen Walters and husband, Tom and Kelly Barnett and husband, Randy of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Austin Seaborne, Harley Walters, Jacob Walters and Chandler Walters of Campbellsville; He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jessie R. Quisenberry in 2005.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 19, 2008 at -Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Homein Campbellsville by Rev. Brent Gupton and Rev. Gene Hall

VISITATION: After 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home.

BURIAL: Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery will full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard
