Elden M. Gage, aged 61, of New Berlin, father of eight (should be nine) children, died Saturday.

He was born in South New Berlin and married Martha I. Prosser in 1921. He had been an employee of the Kraft Foods, Co. in New Berlin for many years.

Surviving are his wife; eight children, Arthur N.(F.) of Leominster, Mass., Alfred L. of Clarence, Ronald(Donald) R., Richard A., Norma M., Mrs. James Morehead and Mrs. Jean Smith, all of New Berlin and Mrs. Avery Porrey(Torrey) of Cincinnatus, and three sisters, Mrs. Glen Bemis of Hubbardsville, Mrs. Beatrice I. Gould and Mrs. Gordon Parry, both of New Berlin.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday from the Dakin Funeral Home in New Berlin, with the Rev. Donald L. Aubreym, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in New Berlin.
