She married Daniel F. Bieker on Aug. 12, 1946, in Emmeram. He preceded her in death March 30, 1981.
She graduated from Victoria High School. She was a homemaker and furniture upholsterer. She enjoyed many activities including gardening, crocheting, making rosaries, playing pinochle and having cookies and coffee with family and friends. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.
Survivors include four sons, Francis and wife, Sheila, Papillion, Neb., Deannie and wife, Janice, Kansas City, Kenny, Salina, and Danny Jr. and wife, Diane, Kansas City; two daughters, Jeanette Bieker, Catharine, and Janice Bieker and husband, Bradley Sanderson, Paola; a brother, Warren F. Kuhn, Victoria; two daughters-in-law, Karen Bieker and Debbie Storer, Hays; 19 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Tommy, Stanley and Stevie Bieker; eight brothers; seven sisters; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, both at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601. A rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a vigil at 7 p.m., both at the funeral chapel.
Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Building Fund in care of the funeral chapel.
