Hilaria "Larry" Windholz, 101, Victoria, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Prairie Haven Nursing Home, Kensington. She was born Nov. 12, 1910, in Emmeram to Joseph M. and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Kuhn.

She married Anselm "Scotty" Windholz on Nov. 23, 1936, in Emmeram. He preceded her in death Jan. 22, 2000.

She attended school in Emmeram. She was a wallpaper installer and hanger in Ellis and the Russell County area for more than 40 years. She installed the last mural of St. Fidelis above the altar at the Cathedral of the Plains St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria. She retired in the late 1970s. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and Christian Mothers, both of Victoria. She enjoyed cooking, baking bread, making noodles, her family and her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Gladys Wickham and husband, William, Phillipsburg; a brother, Francis Kuhn and wife, Mary Jane, Victoria; two sisters, Leona Rohleder and Martina Bieker, both of Hays; a sister-in-law, Laurina Kuhn, Hays; four grandchildren, William Wickham II and wife, Shari, Galen Wickham and wife, Jaque, Shelley Wickham and husband, Ryan Bandt, and Sonja Wickham; six great-grandchildren, Garrett Wickham, Gabriel Wickham, Jaci Wickham, Grant Wickham, Lexi Wickham and Rylie Bandt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gracie Windholz; six brothers, Raymond, John, Leo, Eugene, Joseph F. and Clarence Kuhn; two infant brothers, Conrad Edwin Kuhn and Anton Edwin Kuhn; and five sisters, Dena Riedel, Margaret Dinkel, Delphina Copp, Mary Brungardt and Lillian Windholz.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Emmeram. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Cline's Mortuary, 412 Main, Victoria, KS 67671. A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a St. Fidelis Christian Mothers rosary at 7 p.m., both at the mortuary

Memorials are suggested to St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund or Hospice Services of Phillipsburg in care of the mortuary.
