SERVICES SET TODAY FOR SAM ANDERSON
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro for Sam Anderson, 54 year-old Murphysboro man who died Thursday.
The Rev. Paul Worley will officiate. Burial will be in Bartlett Cemetery near Ava.
Mr. Anderson died in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Nov. 11, 1913, in Murphysboro, the son of Robert and Josephene Pierce Anderson. He was married in Murphysboro to May Day.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the First Pentecostal Church.
He was a laborer and was a member of the Hod Carriersuilding and Common Laborers Local 160 in Murphysboro.
He leaves his wife; sons, FIoyd with the U. S. Air Force in the Vietnam area, and Donald of Rt. 2, Murphysboro; daughter, Mrs. Florence Seniker of Joliet; a brother, Charles of Murphysboro, and sisters, Mrs. Nora Benson of St. Louis. Mo., and Mrs. Golda Ticer, Mrs. Blanch Brewer, and Mrs. Alice Bowers, all of Murphysboro.
