GOLDIE TICER
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.Tuesday in the First Pentecostal Church, Murphysboro, for Goldie Mae Ticer, 68, of 1303 Turner St. Murphysboro.
She died Saturday in Herrin Hospital, after an illness of three months.
She was born Feb. 19, 1905, in Jackson County to Robert and Josephine Pierce Anderson.
Mrs. Ticer was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Murphysboro.
Survivors include a daughter, Imogene Shinnebarger of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Eddie of Cahokia; a brother, Charles Anderson of Murphysboro; sisters, Blanche Brewer and Alice Allard, both of Murphysboro; and eight grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
The Rev. Paul Worley will officiate, with burial in Murdale Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and until noon Tuesday at Denny and Pettett Funeral Home, Murphysboro.
