C. T. Anderson dies
Charles T. Anderson, 56, of 1303 Maple St., Murphysboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1975, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
He was born March 4, 1919, in Ava to Robert and Josephine Pierce Anderson. He married Mary E. Smith in Jackson, Mo., June 1, 1940.
He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Murphysboro.
He was a retired employee of the Murphysboro Street Dept.and a member of the Laborers Local 160 of Murphysboro.
Survivors are his wife; daughters, Phyllis Hunziker, Betty Benson, Mary Hunziker and Brenda Ritcheson, all of Murphysboro, and Doris Stein of De Soto; sisters, Blanche Brewer and Alice Allard, both of Murphysboro; and six grandchildren.
One daughter, two sons, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Pentecostal Church in Murphysboro. The Rev. Paul Worley and the Rev. David Worley will officiate. Burial will be in the Murdale Gardens of Memory near Murphysboro. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
