JAMES W. ANDERSON DIES IN MURPHYSBORO
James Wesley Anderson, 57, Rt. 2, Murphysboro, was dead on arrival today at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Murphysboro.
Mr. Anderson apparently suffered a heart attack.
He was born in Murphysboro, Feb. 9, 1910, the son of Robert and Josephene Pierce Anderson. He married Hester Hardin in Murphysboro in 1961.
He was a farm and timber laborer. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Murphysboro.
He leaves his wife; brothers, Sam and Charlie, both of Murphysboro; sisters, Mrs. Nora Benson, of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Goldie Ticer, Mrs. Blanch Brewer and Mrs. Alice Bowers, all of Murphysboro.
Funeral services will be 2 p. m. Friday at the First Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Paul Worley officiating.
Burial will be in Barlett Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel, Murphysboro.
