Ruby C. Rasnake, 74, of
Abingdon, formerly of Doran,
died Jan. 3 at her home following
a lengthy illness.
She was born in Russell
County and was a daughter of
the late Charles Wesley and
Martha Horton Plaster, both
Russell County natives.
She had made her home in the
Doran area most of her life and
attended the New Hope Assembly
Church at Claypool Hill before
moving to Abingdon three years
ago.
Mrs. Rasnake and her husband,
Kemper Rasnake, have
been married for 48 years.
Graveside services were conducted
Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. at
Greenhills Memory Gardens
Mausoleum at Claypool Hill with
Rev. Jack R. Keene officiating.
Interment followed in Greenhills
Memory Gardens.

Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in
Richlands was in charge oi
arrangements.
