She was born Appolonia Joas, April 5, 1900, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Joas in the town of Stockbridge. On April 11, 1921, she married Joseph Propson in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockbridge.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Christian Mother’s Society, Kloten, and the G.U.G. Society.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clarence, Stockbridge, Norbert, Chilton, and Gordon, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Esther) Heiner, New Holstein, Mrs. Elmer (Marie) Perl, St. Anna, and Mrs. Sylvester (Stella) Gerner, Brothertown; her mother, Mrs. Anna Joas, a patient at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac; one brother, Alfred Joas of rural Chilton; two sisters, Mrs. Nick Kampfer of rural Chilton, and Mrs. Frank Nickel of Chilton, and 17 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
Funeral services will be today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Raymond Conard, pastor, will be celebrant of the funeral Mass and burial will be in St. Elizabeth’s Church cemetery in Kloten.
