Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday for Henry Shuffield, 75, at the Chapel of Green Funeral Home.

The Rev. P. L. Caperton officiated. Interment was in Little River Cemetery.
.
Shuffield, a life long resident of Milam County, died June 25 at 11 p.m. in Newton Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for the past 2 years.
.
Survivors include three sons, Furmon Shuffield of Freeport, Gilford Shuffield, Cameron and Raymond Shuffield of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Mullinax of Cameron and Mrs. Ella Stone of Elgin; three brothers, Walker Shuffield, Austin; Hubert Shuffield of Cameron and M.B. Shuffield of Cameron, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mr. Shuffield's grandsons and nephews.
