Barnie (sic) Shuffield, 50 years old World War veteran, died at his home in Hammond [Robertson Co., TX] at __:30 p.m. Monday after having been critically ill for the past two months.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from Little River Church with interment in Little River cemetery.

Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Shuffield had lived in Cameron until two years ago when he moved to Hammond.

He is survived by his widow [no name given] and three children, Andrew Shuffield of Oklahoma, Hall Shuffield of Eden and Miss Myrtis Shuffield of Eden; 6 brothers, Jim Shuffield of Brady, Matthew, Henry, Oscar, Walker and Hubert Shuffield of Maysfield.
