The funeral of Dorchie Shuffield who died Monday in Waco of Bright's disease was held at Little River church. Rev. E. S. Hutcherson, pastor of the Cameron Baptist church conducted the services and interment was in the Little River Cemetery.

A number of friends were present from Cameron to join his family and neighbors in paying the last sad tribute of respect to his memory.
.
Dorchie Shuffield was the son of H. J. and Saletha Shuffield, both decease. He was born in Milam County thirty nine years ago. He was one of the twelve sons, three of whom have passed away.
.
He is survived by the following brothers, who were present at his funeral: J.R., M.B., Henry, Alsey (Doc) of Waco, Bartie of McCullough county, Walker, Hubert and H.O. Shuffield.
.
Mr. Shuffield was married to Miss Jessie Hailey and she with the following children, Winford, Harmon, Willard, Dorothy and Della Shuffield survive.
.
Mr. Shuffield was a consistent member of the Post Oak Baptist church and he will be greatly missed in his community.

The following were pall bearers: Bickett Dodson, Ruf Miller, Sailor Yates, R.C. Sharp, Bill Brantley and J.P. Harwell.

Floral tributes were mute witnesses of the esteem in which Mr. Shuffield was held by many friends.
