Thomas Abbott, 62, died yesterday
afternoon at 4 o'clock at his home,
168 North Bennett street, following
an illness of several months duration.
Mr. Abbott was born in Bradford
October 15. 1882. and had resided
here his entire life. He was the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Abbott, pioneer
residents of this city.
He was a member of the Loyal
Order of Moose of Bradford.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs.
Anna Abbott; two sons, Pfc. Jerry
Abbott of Texarkana, Tex., and
William Abbott of Bradford; one
brother, Abraham Abbott of Bradford;
six sister, Mrs. A. A. Tibbetts,
Mrs. J. V Wilcox. Mrs. Henry Colley,
Mrs. Raymond Chamberlain and
Mrs. G. J. Miller, all of Bradford;
Mrs. Chauncey Askey of Elmira,
N. Y. Several nieces and nephews
also survive.
The body was taken to the Brooks
B. Hollenbeck Funeral Home and
will be taken to the home in North
Bennett street this afternoon.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete
and will be announced later.
