Esteemed Woman Yields to
Attack of Pneumonia

Mrs. Elizabeth Abbott, widow of the
late Calvin Abbott, died yetserday at
her home on Bennett Brook road.
Her death followed one weeks illness
with pneumonia.
Mrs. Abbott was born 67 years ago
in Cuba, N. Y..She had lived in Bradford
for the greater part of her life
and was held in the highest regan:
and esteem in this city. She is survived
by five sons, Charles Abbott of
Watkins. N. Y., and Abraham, Thomas,
Calvin and Harry Abbott of Bradford;
and six daughters. Mrs. A. A.
Tibbits, Mrs. J. V. Wilcox, Mrs. H. C.
Colley, Mrs. R. G. Chamberlain, Mrs.
C. R. Askey and Miss Stella Abbott,
all of this city: a sister Miss May Mellican and two brothers, Thomas and
John Mellican. all of St. Louis, Mo.;
nineteen grandchildren, and
one greatgrand child.
The funeral announcement will be
made later.

Abbott were held at 2 o'clock yesterday
afternoon at the home on Bennett
Brook road. Rev, P. N. Osborne officiated,
and bur.ial.was in Oak Hill
cemetery.
