Dies at Her Home
After Long Illness
Mrs. Birdie Abbott Colley, 69, of
Interstate Pky., Ext., died at her
home Monday morning at 6:40
o'clock after an illness of 10 years.
Mrs. Colley was born here March
27, 1881, and lived in Bradford all
her life. She was a daughter of the
late Calvin and Elizabeth Abbott,
pioneer residents in this area. She
was a member of the Christian Missionary
Alliance Church.
She is survived by three sons,
Raymond and Merle, Bradford, and
Louis. Bolivar: one daughter, Mrs.
Iva Bentley, Kinzua: one brother,
Abe Abbott, Bradford; four sisters,
Mrs. A. A. Tibbitts and Mrs. R. G.
Chamberlain. Bradford, Mrs. G. J.
Miller. Walking Glen. N. T., _ and
Mrs. Chan Askey, Elmira, N. Y.:
and 13 grandchildren, several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services will he held from
the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel this
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev.
C. J. Balner of the Christian Missionary
Alliance Church will officiate.
Burial will be made in Oak Hill cemetery.
