In Memory of Lewis Bobo, whose burial site, is one of the Civil War battle fields, his wife, Sarah Ann, died shortly after the war ended, and his mother-in-law, Mary A Anderson aged 72, died thereafter, leaving all the young children orphans, assigned guardians, and scattered in different Texas Counties, away from each other, later in life, some of them would reunit.

He married Sarah Ann"Marey" Anderson, about 1854 in Houston Co TX. She was born in AR 1832. She was the daughter of Marey A Anderson - father unknown.

They all had arrived Feb 17, 1846, from Union Co SC, with Elias White's wagon train. Lewis lived with Sarah a time, until her young son was of age to help, shortly after 1850, he moved to Houston Co TX, this was the original destination of Elias White's wagon train, to meet up with his brother Stephen White, who had arrived, in Houston Co TX in, 1836.

Lewis's old Church in Union Co SC, the Padgett's Creek Baptist Church, had ask a member, S Gibbs to write a letter to lewis, and later, granted Lewis a letter of dismission, Dec 19th, 1846. He was already in Texas.
