Lizzie was the sister of his sister, Letita's, second husband, George Gaskill. On 23 Sept 1905 Edward married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gaskill in Bridgeton, NJ. According to the 1910 census he was married to Amy E. They had an adopted or taken in child named Irene Clayton b. 1903 (as listed in the 1910 census). The E. in Amy's name probably stands of Elizabeth and she was "Lizzie". In 1920 he was living in Camden Co. with his wife and daughter. He stayed in the area and according to the 1930 census he was living in Gloucester City, NJ with Elizabeth and his nephew, Richard Bakeley (Blakeslee) b. 1913. Edward's sister, Letita's, daughter's married name was Blakeslee.
