Esther Brown was born abt. 1848, to John Brown b. 1801 and Rachel Peden b. abt. 1808, at Eugene, IN.
Esther was in the 1850 US census, showing her as 2 years old, but she was not included in the 1860 census with her family. Presumably Esther died between 1850-1860 so I estimated her date of death after 1850.
I have been told that early graves are in the old section of the cemetery and many have no markers. I presume this area is where Esther and her mother Rachel (Peden) Brown, d. 1867, are both buried.
