LUCAS - Lois (Reed), 88, of Valley View Haven, Belleville, Pa., formerly of Dudley and Johnstown, died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at 12:45 a.m. at Valley View Haven. Born Dec. 17, 1917, in Dudley, daughter of the late Jonah and Annie (Black) Reed. She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Lucas; three brothers: Warren, Willis and Delton Reed; and a sister, Helena Reed. She is survived by sister, Eleanor Greenawalt, Dudley, and three brothers: George Reed, Johnstown; Robert Reed, Lewistown; and Charles Reed, Denton, Texas. She was self-employed and was the owner/operator of the Dairy Queen in Westmont for 27 years. She was a graduate of Robertsdale High School and then went on to receive her cosmetology license. During her life, she enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the Dudley United Methodist Church, Washington Street, Dudley. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, July 5, from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10 a.m. at Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc., Broad Top City, Pa. Burial will be in Dudley Protestant Cemetery, Dudley.
