Warren D, "Homey" Reed, 83. of Pennknoll Village, Everett, RD formerly of Dudley, died June 3, 1999, at Pennknoll Village. Born Feb. 14, 1916, in Dudley, he was the son of the late Jonah and Annie (Black) Reed. He married Madeline Speck Feb, 7, 1934, in Cumberland, Md, with the Rev. George Baughman officiating. Mrs. Reed survives at home, along with a son and a daughter, Charles Reed of Broad Top City and Bonnie Swab of Kernersville, N C. Three sisters and three brothers also survive: Helena Reed, Lois Lucas, both of Dudley; Eleanor Greenwalt of Saxton; George Reed, Johnstown; Robert Reed, Lewistown; and Charles Reed of Denton, Texas. Two sons, Warren Devoe Reed Jr. and Ronald F. Reed; and two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Reed worked as a miner.
