Westby, Wis. - (Special) - Philip Appleman, 81, died at his home at Bloomingdale Sunday following a long illness.
Surviving are his second wife; a daughter of the first marriage, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Leonard, Pittsburgh, Pa., two sons of the second marriage, Myron of Afghanistan and Mervin, at home; one sister, Mrs. Jane Wallace, Ontario; and 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A daughter of the first marriage preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Appleman are to be held Thursday, March 11, at the home at 1:30 p.m. and at 1 p.m. at the Bloomingdale church. Burial is to be in the adjoining cemetery.
