Margaret Sheppard Clark, 85, of Chestnut Street, Stuart, died Saturday, March 7, 1998, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Clark was born in Stokes County, N.C., to the late Elcanie and Sallie Jane Shelton Sheppard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Moir A. (Pete) Clark, who passed away June 17, 1996, and by two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Clark is survived by two sons, M. Page Clark of Vesta and Glenn E. (Dud) Clark of Stuart; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Rattaree of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mrs. Rachel Shropshire of Ridgeway and Mrs. Jackie Crouch of Martinsville. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Stuart Cemetery, with the Rev. Luther Hopkins officiating. The family suggests that if desired, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements
