He disappeared from Chester, WV, abt. 1928, leaving his wife and 3 children behind. I found him in 1991, long after he died. He went to Alkol, WV, and worked in the oil fields. He never re-married.
After he died, someone painted a cinder block white and wrote his name on it with magic marker. I had the cinder block replaced with a regular marker in the early 1990s.
