Dale K. Allison was born in Pughtown (New Manchester), Hancock, WV, on 25 May 1919 to Burgess W. Allison and Alice Kessel-Allison. He married Elizabeth Allison (1920-1991) during World War II. They lived in Chester, WV. He owned his own real estate and insurance office on Carolina Avenue. He moved to Florida in 1986.

Dale K. Allison, 81, of Sebastian, died Dec. 23, 2000, at Indian River Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born May 25, 1919 in Pughtown, W.Va., and moved to Sebastian in 1986 from Chester, W.Va.
Mr. Allison owned and operated Dale K. Allison Agency Inc. in Chester for 47 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian; he was a Master Mason and a member of the Chester Lodge 14 [sic], Royal Arch Masons, New Cumberland, W.Va.; a member of the Osiris Temple of the Shrine, Wheeling, W.Va; and a member of the Commandery 6450, Chester, W.Va [sic].
Surviving are two sons, Robert Allison of Akron, Ohio, and Terry Allison of Sebastian; a daughter, Molly A. Calleri, of Sebastian, and five grandchildren.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian, with the Rev. Rafael Sanchez officiating.
