Mrs. Margaret Allison.

Mrs. Margaret Allison, of Fairview, W. Va., widow of the late Grant Allison, died at her home at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the effects of an attack of consumption, with which she had been afflicted for several years. Mrs. Allison's husband died 11 years ago, and since that time the faithful wife has been burdened with the responsibilities of raising a family of children, all of whom were small when the father died. Mrs. Allison was about 40 years of age and was among the best known and most highly respected residents of the county. She was esteemed by all who knew her, having endeared herself to a very large circle of friends by her many laudable traits of character. Mrs. Allison's maiden name was Margaret Hobbs, having been a daughter of the late Wesley Hobbs, of Fairview, and had always resided in that neighborhood. She is survived by four children, Esther, Burgess, Elizabeth and Margaret. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Joseph, Robert, Charles, John and Cyrus Hobbs and Mrs. John Chapman, of New Cumberland. Funeral services will be conducted at the late home tomorrow. Rev. Mr. Evans, pastor of the Fairview Christian church, of which the deceased had been a life long member, will officiate, and interment will be made later in the Fairview cemetery.
