The Bladen North Carolina native had lived in Reidsville for the past 42 years. Ms. Beasley worked in the Physics Department at Clemson College and the Atomic DuPont Plant in Augusta.
She was a member of the Reidsville Garden Club and The Reidsville United Methodist Church.
Ms. Billie loved to play bridge and the piano.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Reid Beasley.
She is survived by: Three sisters and brothers-in-law: Dobbie Thompson of Vidalia, Opal & Bob Berley of Matthews, N.C., Mary & Ben Little of Clarkton, N.C.; Step-daughter: Kathryne Beasley Toups and family of Baton Rouge, LA; Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday from the Reidsville City Cemetery with the Reverends David Hudson and Marc Foster officiating.
