J. B. Cade, 70, retired farmer of Albany, Route 4 and a resident of this communite for the past 33 years, died last night at his home following as extended iiiness.
He was born on November 27, 1879 to Benjamin Hale Cade and Mary L James in Cedar Valley, Travis County Texas. He married Dudra Gennesaret Lowrie on February 4, 1899 in Snyder, Texas. In 1917 they moved to Albany Oregon where he farmed. He was a member of the Albany Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
He died on April 13, 1950. He is surived by his wife; two sons, Jim N Cade of Albany and O. A. Cade of Tangent; a daughter, Evelyn Cade of Pasadena, Calif; five brothers, John of Texas, Tom of Salem, Will of Albany, Ed of Long Beach and V E Cade of Washington; four sisters, Mrs Myrtle Riley of Stockton, Calif., Mrs Dollie Cobine of Buena Vista, Mrs Annie Furnish of Siletz, and Bessie Jones of Myrtle, Texas; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was loved by all who knew him and he'll be greatly missed
