Will Siebels, 82, Dies Sept. 30th After Accident
Will Siebels, 82, rural Anamosa, died Friday, Sept. 30, at Anamosa Community hospital, from neck and chest injuries, received in a car accident on North Ford street, Anamosa, shortly before.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 3, at 1:30 p.m., at Wayne Zion Lutheran church, rural Monticello. Rev. Luther Wachholz and Rev. J. P. Willms conducted the service. Burial was in Wayne Zion cemetery.

Pallbearers included Lawrence Folkers, Allan Siebels, Leslie Toenjes, Wesley Siebels, Ed Harms and Willis Zimmerman.
Life Outlined:
He was born Dec.6, 1883, son of Garret Siebels and Anna Rieken Siebels, Wayne township, Jones county. He attended Jones county schools.
He was married Feb. 22, 1906, to Anna Zimmerman, at Wayne Zion Lutheran church. Except for five years spent in Anamosa, he had lived his life on a farm in Wayne township.
Survivors Listed:
Survivors include four sons, Elmer and Clarence, at home; Vern and Irvin, Anamosa, one daughter, Laura, Mrs. Conrad Monck, Monticello, one sister, Mrs. Ben Wroblewski, Central City; one brother, George Siebels, Amber; 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife March 20 1959; his parents, four brothers, one sister, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
