R. SIEBELS DIES OF GUNSHOT WOUND
Rhinehart Siebels, 65, lifetime resident of Jones county, died Saturday at his home north of Monticello, apparently from a self-inflicted shotgun wound.
Siebels was found dead in his garage by his wife on her return home from work shortly after 2 p.m. He had left a note on the kitchen table and told her not to look in the garage.
The Jones county sheriff's office was notified about 1:20 pm. Siebles had been shot through the heart with a 16 gauge shotgun.
