Columbia (Special) - O. B. Dortch, 87-year-old retired Caldwell Parish farmer, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, leaving 109 direct descendants.
Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Final rites were set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Fellowship Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery by Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mr. Dortch is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Carrie D. Caldwell, Mrs. May Belle Kenworthy and Mrs. Verna Cosby, all of the Columbia Heights Community; Mrs. Lola Childers of Urania and Mrs. Cora Tisdale of West Monroe; two sons Willie Dortch and Jack Dortch of Columbia; 32 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
