Columbia, La., Oct. 13 - (Special) - Sam Dortch, of Columbia, died of a heart attack Monday morning.
Funeral services are incomplete, but will be held Tuesday at Old Palestine Church, The body will lay in state at his home in Vixen community Monday night.
Interment will be in Palestine Cemetery under direction of Riser's Funeral Home of Columbia.
Survivors include his widow; three sons, Lannie and Emmett, of Monroe, and Solon Dortch, of Columbia; two daughters, Mrs. Floya Gentry, of Columbia and Mrs. Goldie Hall, of West Monroe.
