Services for Lola Reeves Childers, 85, Columbia, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 1990 at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Matthew Romano and Rev. Julius Russell officiating.
Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery west of Columbia under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mrs. Childers died Tuesday, July 24, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia Heights after an extended illness.
She was a native of Caldwell Parish and a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Idell Reeves Cook of Columbia and Bearnie Dean Reeves Gore of Monroe; two sisters, Carrie Dortch Caldwell of Columbia and Verna Dortch Cosby of Monroe, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sammy Cook, Michael Cook, Doug Stamper, Kenneth Reeves, Gaylord Allin, Robert Humble and Chad Humble.
