Services for Caroline Evelyn Dortch Caldwell, known to everyone as Carrie, 101 of Columbia were 11 a.m. at Riser Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brian Rankin officiating. Internment followed at Fellowship Cemetery in Columbia.
Mrs. Caldwell died Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at her residence in Columbia. She was a member of Banks Springs Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late O. B. Dortch and the late Lela Virginia Peterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Millard Caldwell and her grand-daughter, Donnie Faye Marcum.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Joe Caldwell and Lucy Caldwell of Columbia; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
